This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Take charge of market and competitive intelligence by maintaining up-to-date insights on the competitive landscape and broader market trends.
• Create point-of-view documents that guide roadmap and positioning decisions.
• Investigate strategic inquiries, including new capability areas and potential partnership opportunities, while providing actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering leadership to assess product opportunities through TAM/SAM/SOM analysis and evaluate strategic alignment.
• Develop and present Commercial Briefs for the initial Assess phase of Drips' go-to-market strategy.
• Define use cases for new capabilities and collaborate with subject matter experts to establish ideal client profiles.
• Create repeatable frameworks and playbooks to facilitate expansion into new verticals.
• Recruit, mentor, and oversee the Solutions Consulting team.
• Ensure Solution Consultants effectively manage qualified opportunities from discovery to proposal delivery.
• Develop and scale KPIs, SLAs, quota structures, and coverage models.
• Communicate and align with Product, Sales, Solutions Consulting, and Marketing teams following strategic decisions.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 8 to 12 years of experience in product strategy, product management, solutions consulting, sales engineering, or a hybrid strategy/pre-sales role, preferably in B2B SaaS.
• A minimum of 2 to 3 years of direct experience managing or mentoring a team.
• Background in or selling to healthcare, insurance, education, or another highly regulated sector, or proven ability to quickly adapt to a regulated market.
• Proven experience transforming market or competitive research into business cases or roadmap recommendations.
• Experience in building or enhancing operational infrastructure, including KPIs, SLAs, coverage models, or quota structures.
• Ability to identify risks associated with potential opportunities and outline plans for mitigation.
• Capability to establish new processes while enhancing and scaling existing ones.
• Comfort in operating without formal authority on strategic recommendations, with ownership and accountability for team management and operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Confidence in presenting analysis and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Ability to communicate directly with clients.
• Familiarity with TAM/SAM/SOM market-sizing frameworks and competitive analysis techniques.
• Experience collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams without direct execution responsibility is a bonus.
• Familiarity with generative AI tools to improve and automate workflows is a plus.
