This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Provide technological leadership, vision, and strategic direction to engineering and product development teams while fostering innovation in product development.
• Achieve customer-centric business outcomes utilizing Java full-stack and cloud computing across SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS platforms.
• Oversee P&L and gross margins, contributing to business growth through exceptional delivery.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, manage scope adjustments, and translate those changes into customer revenue.
• Lead customer relationship management at the organizational level.
• Implement processes that enhance predictability, productivity, quality, and speed to value.
• Institutionalize sustainable Agile methodologies and create roadmaps that increase value.
• Identify and assess innovation and development opportunities driven by the organization.
• Spearhead talent transformation efforts, including retention, recruitment, upskilling, cross-skilling, and certifications.
• Collaborate with Vertical Heads to meet organizational objectives.
• Expand the Halifax nearshore engineering center.
• Support mergers and acquisitions, overseeing the integration of acquired entities in North America and Latin America.
• Provide guidance to teams during pre-sales and execution phases.
• Over 20 years of experience in product lifecycle development, with diverse roles across various lifecycle stages.
• Strong background in product engineering.
• Proven experience in delivering outcomes through Java full-stack and cloud computing (SaaS/PaaS/IaaS).
• At least one deep-domain experience in a specific industry.
• Experience translating product roadmaps into engineering roadmaps.
• Customer-focused experience leading organization-wide customer relationship management.
• Awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Expertise in product engineering, design, and architecture.
• Experience with IP-led transformation models, including assets, frameworks, accelerators, POCs, and patents.
• Ability to guide teams during pre-sales and execution.
• Experience managing P&L and gross margins.
• Familiarity with Agile practices and process development.
• Experience leading talent transformation initiatives, including retention, recruitment, upskilling, cross-skilling, and certifications.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent people management and leadership skills.
• Effective communication skills across all employee levels, from entry-level to global leadership.
