Director of Eligibility – Encounters

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Comprehend business and IT strategies to ensure the necessary skills and capabilities are present.

• Drive continuous improvement, IT analysis initiatives, and special projects across application portfolios.

• Establish optimal practices for requirements gathering, analysis, design, testing, and implementation.

• Collaborate with various departments to identify improvements in business processes and translate them into scalable, efficient, and automated system enhancements.

• Oversee delivery, testing, validation, rollout, training, issue triage, and resolution.

• Utilize Critical Thinking, Lean Management, ITIL, Design Thinking, and structured systems analysis and design methodologies.

• Set, monitor, measure, and refine process metrics.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to both business and technical teams.

• Promote a user-centered design culture and principles.

• Clarify project vision, align design with deliverable objectives, and communicate vision throughout the organization.

• Supervise analysis, design, and testing practices.

• Ensure data integrity across multiple systems and address inconsistencies.

• Mentor and empower the IT Analysis team.

• Recruit, develop, engage, motivate, and manage both managers and individual contributors.

• Cultivate and coach future leaders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of relevant experience.

• Proficient in Agile and Lean methodologies.

• Experience working across various IT departments to gain a broad business and industry perspective.

• Ability to collaborate organization-wide and execute tasks hands-on.

• Capable of articulating technical issues to both technical and business stakeholders.

• Proven ability to tackle challenging business problems.

• Exceptional project management, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

• Competence in driving and implementing ideas in a dynamic environment.

• Experience leading technically complex, cross-functional projects from conception to completion.

• Demonstrated success in skill-building within the team.

• Developing executive presence.

• Experience managing ambiguity, addressing complex problems, and effectively scaling across a large and highly distributed organization.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Science is preferred.
