Director of Eligibility – Encounters

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Comprehend both business and IT strategies to ensure the necessary skills and competencies are present.

• Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives, IT analysis projects, and special assignments across application portfolios.

• Establish optimal practices for gathering requirements, analysis, design, testing, and implementation.

• Collaborate across the organization to identify enhancements in business processes and translate them into scalable, efficient, and automated system improvements.

• Take ownership of delivery, testing and validation, rollout and training, along with issue triage and resolution.

• Utilize Critical Thinking, Lean Management, ITIL, Design Thinking, and structured systems analysis and design methodologies.

• Set up, monitor, measure, and refine process metrics.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to both business and technical teams.

• Promote a user-centric design culture and principles.

• Clarify project vision, align design with deliverable objectives, and communicate that vision throughout the organization.

• Supervise analysis, design, and testing methodologies.

• Ensure data integrity across various systems and address inconsistencies.

• Mentor and empower the IT Analysis team.

• Recruit, develop, engage, inspire, and manage both managers and individual contributors.

• Cultivate and coach future leaders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of relevant experience.

• Proficient in Agile and Lean methodologies.

• Experience transitioning between different IT departments to gain a comprehensive business and industry perspective.

• Ability to collaborate throughout the organization and execute tasks hands-on.

• Skilled in articulating technical issues to both technical and business stakeholders.

• Capable of resolving challenging business problems.

• Exceptional project management, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.

• Competent in driving and implementing ideas in a dynamic environment.

• Proven experience leading technically complex, cross-functional projects from inception to execution.

• Demonstrated capability to enhance skills within the team.

• Developing executive presence.

• Experience in navigating ambiguity, resolving intricate problems, and scaling effectively across large organizations and widely distributed teams.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor messages for both technical and business audiences.

• A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Science is preferred.
