This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee global storefronts powered by Shopify, focusing on site merchandising, catalog management, promotional strategies, conversion rate optimization, localization, and wholesale assistance.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to establish the headless commerce roadmap and effectively prioritize the backlog.
• Lead the paid media strategy for Meta and Google, working with agencies within a regulated category.
• Take charge of organic visibility through SEO/SEM, product listings, and site exposure.
• Manage the attribution and measurement framework, which includes Triple Whale, GA4, and Shopify, while optimizing decisions related to ROAS/ROI.
• Enhance Klaviyo email initiatives, focusing on performance, segmentation, personalization, and lifecycle strategies.
• Develop and manage programs for loyalty, rewards, referrals, affiliate marketing, creator commerce, marketplaces, and retail-to-DTC transitions.
• Ensure compliance in e-commerce operations regarding age verification, shipping, payment processing, and adherence to state and country regulations.
• Collaborate with supply chain and finance to generate demand forecasts and oversee the DTC P&L in alignment with board-level targets.
• Present performance analytics and strategic insights to executive leadership and board members.
• Mentor, guide, and develop the internal team, while managing partnerships with agencies, vendors, and platforms.
• Full ownership of a DTC P&L.
• A minimum of 5 years experience in leading e-commerce, digital merchandising, or lifecycle and loyalty functions from start to finish in performance-driven consumer organizations.
• In-depth knowledge of Shopify.
• Familiarity with headless architectures, such as Builder.io, Hydrogen, or API-led storefronts.
• Experience managing multi-store, multi-currency, and multi-region commerce operations.
• Proficient in modern attribution and analytics stacks, including Triple Whale or similar tools, GA4, and cohort analysis.
• Immediate proficiency with Shopify, Builder.io, Klaviyo, and project management tools like Asana/Jira.
• Previous experience with Amazon, encompassing Seller/Vendor Central, listing optimization, and marketplace advertising.
• Proven track record in building or expanding affiliate and creator-commerce initiatives, such as Impact.com or similar networks.
• Significant experience in age-restricted categories like cannabis, CBD, hemp, alcohol, or nicotine.
• Understanding of advertising limitations, age verification, and shipping compliance regulations.
• Experience contributing to e-commerce initiatives across various countries, including localization, VAT/duties, regional fulfillment, and market-specific compliance.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment in fast-paced environments lacking complete information.
• Experience in managing small teams and agencies effectively.
