This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify and seek out new business prospects through market analysis, networking, and targeted outreach initiatives.
• Build and nurture relationships with data center end users, clients, design teams, and other essential industry stakeholders.
• Oversee and progress opportunities through the sales and preconstruction phases.
• Assist with strategic sales initiatives, manage the sales pipeline, engage in CRM activities, and create proposals and presentations.
• Lead and coordinate design-build and design-assist efforts, addressing scope, assumptions, and clarifications.
• Collaborate with estimating and preconstruction teams to formulate competitive, low-risk solutions.
• Work closely with operations to guarantee a seamless project transition and continuity from pursuit to execution.
• Formulate strategies to tackle customer challenges and distinguish the company within the mission-critical market.
• Keep abreast of trends in data center construction, market possibilities, and changing customer requirements.
• Conduct client meetings to grasp customer needs and present customized solutions.
• Establish strategic alliances and connect regional teams with suitable clients and market partners.
• Contribute to sustained revenue growth and expansion in the mission-critical sector.
• 10–15+ years of experience in the construction industry, particularly in business development, project development, preconstruction, and/or execution of large-scale projects.
• Significant experience in mission-critical environments, data centers, concrete construction, or similarly intricate construction markets.
• A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Demonstrated success in identifying new opportunities and establishing strategic relationships and partnerships.
• Experience in strategic planning, project development, preconstruction, and leading cross-functional teams.
• A strong grasp of risk management and project delivery methodologies.
• Proven ability to create solutions for complex customer and project demands.
• Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Capability to collaborate effectively with clients, design teams, estimating, preconstruction, operations, and executive leadership.
• Willingness to travel as necessary for client engagements, projects, and business development endeavors.
