Director, Deal Desk

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide support to the Renewals Team and Direct Sales Channel.

• Reduce the financial impact of downsells and churn.

• Assist with requests for non-standard deals.

• Collaborate with Sales and Renewals to create customer- and Egnyte-friendly agreements that meet acceptable margins and scalable solutions.

• Facilitate deal structuring and execution on a global scale.

• Shorten sales cycle times while maximizing revenue, profitability, and/or market share.

• Support sales teams with deal strategies and the structuring of complex deals.

• Oversee revenue recognition requirements.

• Formulate and implement pricing strategies in conjunction with product management, marketing, and field enablement teams.

• Promote ongoing process improvements.

• Create metrics and processes to enhance business visibility and consistency across different regions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8-10+ years of experience in the enterprise software industry; experience in Deal Desk, Finance, or Sales Operations is preferred.

• Strong comprehension of SaaS/subscription and software licensing models.

• In-depth knowledge of software revenue recognition principles.

• Channel experience is highly desirable.

• Significant experience in contract management.

• Strong analytical abilities and financial modeling skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proven track record of leading high-performing teams in fast-paced environments.

• Business degree required.

• Proficient in MS Excel and Salesforce CPQ.
