This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
β’ Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and targeted outreach.
β’ Cultivate relationships with data center end users, customers, design teams, and other essential industry stakeholders.
β’ Manage and progress opportunities through the sales and preconstruction phases.
β’ Assist with strategic sales initiatives, pipeline management, CRM activities, proposals, and presentations.
β’ Lead and coordinate design-build and design-assist efforts, including scope, assumptions, and clarifications.
β’ Collaborate with estimating and preconstruction teams to create competitive, low-risk solutions.
β’ Work closely with operations to ensure seamless project turnover and continuity from pursuit to execution.
β’ Formulate strategies to tackle customer challenges and distinguish the company in the mission-critical market.
β’ Stay updated on data center construction trends, market opportunities, and evolving customer needs.
β’ Conduct client meetings, comprehend customer requirements, and present customized solutions.
β’ Establish strategic partnerships and connect regional teams with suitable clients and market partners.
β’ Contribute to long-term revenue growth and expansion in the mission-critical sector.
β’ 10β15+ years of experience in the construction industry, particularly in business development, project development, preconstruction, and/or execution of large-scale projects.
β’ Extensive experience in mission critical, data center, concrete construction, or similarly complex construction markets.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
β’ Proven track record of identifying new opportunities and securing strategic relationships and partnerships.
β’ Experience in strategic planning, project development, preconstruction, and leading cross-functional teams.
β’ Strong grasp of risk management and project delivery.
β’ Demonstrated ability to devise solutions for complex customer and project requirements.
β’ Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
β’ Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking capabilities.
β’ Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, design teams, estimating, preconstruction, operations, and executive leadership.
β’ Willingness to travel as required for client engagements, projects, and business development activities.
