This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Identify and pursue new business prospects through market analysis, networking, and focused outreach efforts.
• Cultivate relationships with data center end users, customers, design teams, and other essential industry stakeholders.
• Oversee and advance opportunities throughout the sales and preconstruction phases.
• Assist in strategic sales activities, pipeline management, CRM operations, proposals, and presentations.
• Lead and coordinate design-build and design-assist initiatives, including scope definitions, assumptions, and clarifications.
• Collaborate with estimating and preconstruction teams to create competitive, low-risk solutions.
• Work closely with operations to ensure a smooth project transition and continuity from pursuit to execution.
• Formulate strategies to tackle customer challenges and distinguish the company within the mission critical market.
• Stay updated on trends in data center construction, market opportunities, and changing customer needs.
• Conduct client meetings to understand customer requirements and present customized solutions.
• Establish strategic partnerships and connect regional teams with relevant clients and market partners.
• Contribute to long-term revenue growth and expansion within the mission critical sector.
• 10–15+ years of experience in the construction industry, with considerable expertise in business development, project development, preconstruction, and/or execution of large-scale projects.
• Significant experience in mission critical, data center, concrete construction, or other similarly complex construction markets.
• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Demonstrated success in identifying new opportunities and establishing strategic relationships and partnerships.
• Experience in strategic planning, project development, preconstruction, and leading cross-functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of risk management and project delivery processes.
• Proven ability to devise solutions for intricate customer and project needs.
• Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and strategic thinking skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, design teams, estimating, preconstruction, operations, and executive leadership.
• Willingness to travel as required for client engagements, projects, and business development initiatives.
