Director of Clinical Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver strategic direction and clinical leadership to Centering sites, the Practice Transformation department, and the organization.

• Supervise daily clinical and program operations, which encompass budget oversight, program development, strategic planning, and operational decision-making.

• Foster accountability, continuous enhancement, person-centered care, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

• Collaborate with leadership to ensure high-quality service delivery and alignment with the organization’s goals.

• Assist with expansion within existing partner organizations and promote innovative implementation solutions.

• Create and assess quality improvement initiatives, analyzing program outcomes, patient experience metrics, participation rates, and performance indicators.

• Lead quality improvement efforts and partake in audits, inspections, and accreditation evaluations.

• Aid in the evaluation and reporting for grants, contracts, and strategic initiatives.

• Build relationships with clinical and operational leaders at partner organizations.

• Organize meetings with physicians, nurses, midwives, behavioral health professionals, and practice administrators.

• Advise the Implementation Advisor team on clinical integration.

• Assist partners in overcoming implementation challenges and achieving performance objectives.

• Contribute to business development, community outreach, educational events, and relationship-building activities.

• Enhance products, services, training materials, and clinical collateral.

• Offer clinical expertise for proposals, presentations, educational content, and resources for partners.

• Establish connections with community organizations, healthcare providers, governmental bodies, and referral partners.

• Engage in organizational planning and strategic initiatives.

• Collaborate on funding proposals, presentations to funders, and grant-related materials.

• Report to the CEO, with a dotted line to the Chief Operating Officer and People & Culture.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), Physician’s Assistant (PA), Doctor of Medicine (MD), or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in the health system or equivalent.

• Proficiency in implementation science and the national dissemination of evidence-based programs and practices.

• Experience in educating, coaching, and influencing healthcare providers and clinical teams.

• Capability to interpret clinical and operational data to enhance patient outcomes and program effectiveness.

• Comprehensive understanding of healthcare delivery systems and value-based care models.

• Familiarity with utilizing outcome measures and performance data to drive improvements.

• Strong skills in clinical leadership and consultation.

• Excellent abilities in relationship-building and stakeholder engagement.

• Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

• Strong project management and organizational capabilities.

• Critical thinking and effective problem-solving skills.

• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and virtual collaboration platforms.
