This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.
• Develop and implement a detailed Electronic Warfare (EW) business strategy that targets both immediate and emerging opportunities with Department of Defense (DoD) and Allied customers.
• Identify market segments, growth catalysts, procurement avenues, and competitive positioning within the wider EW landscape.
• Collaborate with the Product Management and Engineering teams to ensure alignment between customer requirements and Silvus’ advancing portfolio of RF and networking technologies.
• Stay informed about CEMA, JADC2, and associated modernization efforts to foresee demand and inform long-term strategies.
• Build and nurture relationships with Program Offices, PEOs, and Prime Contractors involved in the EW and spectrum-operations sector.
• Lead the identification of opportunities, qualification processes, and capture planning in partnership with internal technical and program teams.
• Represent Silvus at industry events, trade shows, and government forums to enhance visibility within the EW sector.
• Seek and establish strategic partnerships with OEMs, system integrators, and channel partners to expedite market entry and solution adoption.
• Assess and propose business models and collaboration strategies that enhance reach, speed to market, and return on investment.
• Create a data-driven business plan and forecast that aligns with corporate goals.
• Provide consistent updates to senior leadership regarding pipeline development, capture performance, and competitive analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
• Over 10 years of experience in business development, capture management, or program management in the defense or aerospace industries, focusing on Electronic Warfare, SIGINT, or RF systems.
• Demonstrated success in securing and managing DoD programs valued between $1M and $20M.
• Strong comprehension of DoD acquisition processes, contract vehicles (IDIQ, OTA, BPA), and compliance with FAR/DFARS.
• Technical knowledge of RF systems, spectrum operations, and EW mission areas (ES, EA, EP).
• Established connections within DoD EW programs and major defense contractors (e.g., L3Harris, Northrop Grumman, BAE Systems, Raytheon).
• Security Clearance: Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or the capacity to obtain one within 15 months of employment.
