This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +5 more states.
β’ Take ownership of a structured pipeline in the West US, providing accurate forecasts and regularly reporting to the CCO.
β’ Achieve and surpass an annual sales target through a blend of acquiring new clients and expanding within current accounts.
β’ Create and implement account plans for key strategic targets with discipline and creativity.
β’ Keep a detailed and current record of all discussions, opportunities, and account activities in the company's CRM system, ensuring complete pipeline visibility for the leadership team.
β’ Prepare, submit, and negotiate commercial proposals and offers, managing the entire process from initial qualification to a signed agreement.
β’ Facilitate the closure of legal documents and partnership agreements, collaborating closely with the CCO and internal stakeholders to navigate complex contract structures and multi-party negotiations.
β’ Perform business and commercial modeling to evaluate deal economics, validate pricing structures, and ensure sustainable value creation for both Muybridge and its customers and partners.
β’ Work in close coordination with the East Coast Director of Business Development to ensure cohesive national coverage, minimize overlap, and maximize joint opportunities where accounts or partners span both regions.
β’ Act as the regional spokesperson on market trends, competitor activities, pricing insights, and emerging customer needs.
β’ Contribute to the development of commercial strategy, proposal creation, and partnership structuring discussions with the CCO and leadership team.
β’ You will implement this commercial strategy across three key verticals: Sports Broadcast, Studio & Network Production, and Live Events & Entertainment.
β’ 8β12 years of experience in business development, enterprise sales, or commercial partnerships within sports media, broadcast technology, studio production, live entertainment, or a combination of these fields.
β’ A demonstrated history of achieving and exceeding revenue goals in complex, multi-stakeholder sales environments.
β’ Comfortable working at the intersection of technology, media, and live production, capable of holding a credible technical conversation without engineering support present.
β’ A foundational understanding of broadcast workflows, signal chains, or production infrastructure is a significant advantage.
β’ An existing network among US broadcasters, leagues, franchises, streaming platforms, or production companies is a strong asset.
β’ Experience in selling innovative or emerging technologies to conservative or risk-averse buyers, with the ability to build confidence around new solutions.
β’ Highly self-motivated: capable of building a pipeline from the ground up, managing your own schedule, and functioning independently without daily oversight.
β’ Willing and able to travel frequently throughout the US and occasionally internationally.
β’ Located in a Pacific or Mountain time zone; candidates from LA, Seattle, Portland, Denver, Phoenix, or Salt Lake City are encouraged to apply, while candidates from the Bay Area will be evaluated based on merit.
