This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Spearhead the creation of impactful corporate and executive communications, encompassing talking points, FAQs, stakeholder messaging, presentations, video content, and scripts.
• Counsel senior leadership on communication strategies for intricate, sensitive, or high-stakes situations.
• Ensure coherence and uniformity across stakeholder communications while maintaining brand voice, operational clarity, and legal considerations.
• Formulate messaging frameworks for complex organizational initiatives.
• Direct crisis and issue communications for organizational incidents, collaborating with leadership on unified messaging.
• Anticipate and proactively tackle stakeholder inquiries, concerns, and risks.
• Create marketing copy that aligns with organizational priorities and enhances member engagement.
• Supervise event and stakeholder scripting for major Tri Delta events and conferences.
• Identify and cultivate public relations and thought leadership opportunities.
• Lead the strategic messaging team in content creation, editing, and writing initiatives.
• Inspire, mentor, and develop the strategic messaging team.
• Oversee enterprise-wide copyediting processes.
• Advocate for project management practices and identify content opportunities to bolster Tri Delta’s brand reputation.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field is mandatory.
• 7–10 years of advancing experience in strategic communications, brand management, or marketing is essential.
• At least 3 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity is required.
• Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with senior leadership.
• Strong grasp of brand strategy, messaging frameworks, and enterprise-wide communication planning.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor, motivate, and develop high-performing communications teams.
• Proficiency in crisis communication principles and strategies for managing reputational risk.
• Experience in handling incident response communications is necessary.
• Exceptional writing and editorial capabilities are essential.
• Ability to craft scripts for events and presentations tailored for diverse audiences.
• Strong analytical skills with the capability to interpret communication metrics and present insights to leadership.
• Proven track record of creating clear, actionable, and audience-appropriate communications.
• Extensive experience in crisis and issues management, including responsive communications with legal and organizational leadership.
• Ability to translate complex or technical information into clear, audience-focused messaging.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, deadlines, and workstreams.
• Candidates must reside in the US and be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Successful completion of a background check and drug test is required.
• An existing media list and familiarity with nonprofit, membership-based, or mission-driven organizations is advantageous.
• A Master’s degree is preferred, though not required.
