
Director – National Thought Leader Liaison

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Design and implement a comprehensive strategy for engaging with lung cancer thought leaders, such as academic researchers, digital opinion leaders, and other influential stakeholders.
• Work in partnership with internal teams to execute commercial strategies and oversee interactions with key accounts.
• Gather therapeutic and competitive insights from Thought Leaders and stakeholders to inform the integration of field insights, positioning, messaging, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
• Collaborate with the Senior Director of Thought Leader Strategy to consolidate insights and assess their impact on the brand.
• Implement commercial launch strategies and oversee interactions with Thought Leaders.
• Identify and engage promotional speakers for both regional and national events.
• Nominate promotional speakers for the brand’s Speaker Bureau.
• Develop and sustain relationships with Thought Leaders, keeping them informed about Nuvalent’s activities, portfolio, and strategic direction.
• Collaborate with Legal and Compliance to ensure adherence to customer engagement guidelines and processes.
• Facilitate connectivity among internal stakeholders.
• Co-lead and implement Commercial Advisory Boards.
• Carry out the Thought Leader Engagement Congress strategy.
• Assist brand initiatives that include KOL videos, Peer to Peer programs, and Product theaters.
• Compliantly address Field needs, such as KOL introductions, speaker bureau nominations, and KOL expert panels during sales meetings.
• Aid in market launch preparedness for Zidesamtinib and Neladalkib.
• Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree is preferred.
• Over 10 years of experience in biopharma, including experience with oncology launches.
• More than 3 years of experience as a Thought Leader Liaison in Oncology.
• At least 5 years of commercial oncology experience specifically within the U.S. market, with a strong background in sales, marketing, or related functions.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritize effectively, and communicate across all organizational levels.
• Proven success in recruiting, onboarding, managing, coaching, and retaining top talent.
• Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities.
• Solid understanding of analytics and operational tools/technologies.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including presentation abilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically.
• Experience in Lung cancer is highly preferable.
• Previous experience in Thought Leader Liaison engagement and/or scientific exchange in Lung Cancer.
