Director, Medical Affairs – Emerging Therapies

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Develop and spearhead the medical strategy for emerging therapies leveraging the 220KHz FUS platform.

• Provide medical leadership for early-phase and translational initiatives.

• Collaborate with R&D and Strategic Marketing on both current and future product portfolios and medical development pathways.

• Monitor trends in therapies, competitive landscapes, and scientific advancements.

• Manage the design, readiness, execution, selection of KOLs, pre-clinical evidence, and investigator-initiated research for clinical trials.

• Identify, recruit, and oversee KOLs and members of the scientific team.

• Align clinical trial timelines and endpoints with commercial and go-to-market strategies.

• Support patient enrollment, patient journeys, budget utilization, and data generation efforts.

• Oversee the strategy for publications, data dissemination, and podium presence.

• Develop and implement global strategies for commercial readiness and reimbursement.

• Convene advisory boards to validate clinical directions and decisions.

• Lead cross-functional project execution and align medical strategy with development and lifecycle plans.

• Support go/no-go decisions, portfolio prioritization, and management approvals.

• Build and maintain relationships with KOLs, investigators, and academic collaborators.

• Represent the organization at major congresses and symposia.

• Provide medical insights for regulatory submissions and labeling.

• Support risk management and safety communications.

• Mentor and assist in developing a high-performing medical and clinical support team.

• Support corporate strategic planning, pipeline development, global expansion, lifecycle decisions, launch readiness, post-marketing research, publications, and lifecycle optimization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Leadership responsibility in the scientific and clinical development of novel and pipeline therapies.

• Experience in advancing early- and mid-stage therapeutic programs.

• Ability to develop and lead medical strategy utilizing the 220KHz FUS platform.

• Provide medical leadership for early-phase and translational programs.

• Experience collaborating with R&D, strategic marketing, Clinical Affairs, regulatory, market access, commercial, PMO, CMO, and other cross-functional teams.

• Proven experience in designing, preparing, and executing clinical trials.

• Engagement and management of KOLs and scientific opinion leaders.

• Experience with evidence generation, publication strategies, data dissemination, and congress participation.

• Experience in developing strategies for commercial readiness, reimbursement, and market access.

• Proven ability to convene and lead advisory boards.

• Capability to provide medical input for regulatory submissions and labeling.

• Knowledge of risk management and safety communication protocols.

• Experience in building, mentoring, and supporting high-performing medical and clinical teams.

• Familiarity with portfolio and lifecycle management, pipeline development, global expansion, and launch readiness.
