This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee a group of incoming corps members, offering personalized support from the time of acceptance through summer training, while maintaining precise records of each individual's progress.

• Cultivate trust-based relationships that enhance a sense of belonging and connection to TFA Bay Area's mission, culture, and community.

• Assist incoming corps members with credentialing, district hiring, school placement, and compliance milestones.

• Utilize data to monitor milestones, identify corps members who may be at risk of disengagement or departure, and proactively intervene with coaching, problem-solving, and resources.

• Lead reflective discussions that promote a leadership mindset, resilience, and preparedness for teaching.

• Collaborate with team members to develop timely support plans.

• Conduct individual coaching sessions and check-ins, troubleshoot onboarding processes, analyze data, facilitate group meetings, and coordinate next steps with the Onboarding/Matriculation team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as an instructional leader, school leader, principal, assistant principal, dean, or educator with a solid history of coaching and mentoring adults.

• Proficiency in coaching, advising, mentoring, and developing emerging educators.

• Capability to build genuine relationships while holding individuals accountable to ambitious goals and commitments.

• Strong empathy, cultural responsiveness, clear communication skills, and high expectations.

• Ability to navigate complex challenges, proactively solve problems, and support individuals through transitions and uncertainty.

• Deep commitment to educational equity and to the development and retention of diverse teaching talent.

• Excellent organizational skills, with the capacity to manage a portfolio of individuals, prioritize effectively, and pay attention to detail.

• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders to ensure the success of corps members.
