This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Build, expand, and enhance relationships with health insurers, PBMs, other payers, and key decision makers and influencers impacting coverage and reimbursement decisions.
• Shape the decisions of key stakeholders, policies, guidelines, and contracts to ensure timely and suitable coverage, access, and reimbursement for drug candidates and approved products.
• Execute Brand access strategies, formulate account-specific plans, and assist in addressing access and reimbursement challenges.
• Collaborate with the Medical Affairs field team to support effective communication and comprehension of drug candidates and approved products with payers.
• Partner with the Patient Services team to facilitate the patient journey and resolve coverage concerns.
• Aid Regional Sales teams with pull- or sell-through strategies based on payer coverage.
• Establish and sustain relationships with Formulary, P&T, and Pathway leaders, Medical & Pharmacy Directors, and other population-based stakeholders.
• Co-develop account-level strategies, tools, and tactics to convey the product value proposition.
• Collaborate on pricing and contracting strategies, HEOR evidence generation plans, patient support programs, payer marketing initiatives, and account management strategies.
• Lead discussions with internal and external partners to align access, coverage, and reimbursement strategies.
• Promote a high-performance culture within the field team by fostering accountability, urgency, ethical behavior, and professional growth.
• Monitor trends in the healthcare industry, payer policies, reimbursement processes, and competitive activities.
• Provide strategic insights for decision-making, access strategies, and product launches.
• Ensure that Market Access initiatives adhere to legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
• Manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• At least 10+ years of experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry.
• A minimum of 5+ years of dedicated account management experience in the oncology access marketplace.
• Proven success in engaging with US payers, MACs, PBMs, and IDNs.
• Strong knowledge of the US healthcare payer/access landscape and regulatory environment.
• Excellent strategic thinking, leadership, negotiation, and relationship management abilities.
• Capability to work within cross-functional teams and drive complex projects to completion.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
• Proven track record of achieving and maintaining compliance with relevant regulatory, legal, and operational standards.
• Willingness to travel as required to support business priorities.
