This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Develop and execute the organization's strategy for government affairs at the federal, state, and local levels.

• Oversee the reimbursement strategy encompassing HCPCS and CPT coding, Medicare payment policies, coverage strategies, hospital and ASC reimbursement, and DMEPOS.

• Direct strategic reimbursement planning across Medicare, Medicaid, commercial payers, and integrated delivery networks.

• Identify barriers related to reimbursement, policy, and access, and formulate effective solutions.

• Analyze and shape healthcare policy trends to facilitate the adoption and reimbursement of company products.

• Incorporate health economic models and analyses into reimbursement and market access strategies.

• Lead government affairs initiatives at the federal and state levels to enhance patient access.

• Build and manage a high-performing Market Access team.

• Collaborate strategically with commercial, clinical, regulatory, medical affairs, and health economics teams.

• Establish relationships with payers, policymakers, professional societies, advocacy organizations, and healthcare providers.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree is required.

• At least 10 years of experience in government affairs, public policy, market access, or reimbursement advocacy within the healthcare, medical device, or pharmaceutical industries.

• Proven ability to influence policy and advance reimbursement strategies for innovative medical technologies.

• Comprehensive understanding of the U.S. and Canadian healthcare systems, reimbursement frameworks, and policy dynamics.

• A successful track record in developing and executing programs for diverse audiences.

• Proficient in analyzing and synthesizing various data sources, market research, VOC, and performance metrics.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; adept at presenting and facilitating discussions.

• Ability to influence and navigate within a complex matrixed environment.

• Expertise in medical education and engagement with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).

• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

• Outstanding communication, leadership, and project management skills.

• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
