This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +18 more states.
• Take full responsibility for the delivery of IT audit and advisory engagements from start to finish.
• Utilize independent audit judgment, risk and control frameworks, and thorough root-cause analysis.
• Convert technical findings into clear, actionable narratives suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Evaluate controls and design solutions within AWS, GCP, Datadog, and Okta environments.
• Develop and nurture a high-performing audit team through coaching and development strategies.
• Incorporate AI risk and governance considerations, such as GenAI and agentic AI model risk, bias, transparency, and data privacy, into the auditing process.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools and data analytics to broaden coverage and enhance audit efficiency.
• Implement and manage Workiva for a risk-based Internal Audit framework that aligns with IIA Standards.
• Optimize controls and minimize manual efforts throughout the audit function.
• Foster relationships with Finance, Legal, ERM, Compliance, IT, Engineering, and Security stakeholders.
• Act as a trusted advisor to technology and data teams.
• 12–15 years of progressive professional experience in relevant fields.
• A minimum of 5 years in a leadership position managing IT risk-based audits at a high-growth, global organization.
• Proven experience in establishing a risk-based Internal Audit function from the ground up.
• Familiarity with IIA Standards and the ability to implement them effectively.
• Experience executing risk-based audits in dynamic, agile technology settings.
• Outstanding written communication skills with the capability to generate executive-level audit reports.
• Proficiency in translating complex technical findings into straightforward, actionable narratives.
• A collaborative, relationship-focused approach with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
• Extensive technical expertise that translates into meaningful insights.
• CISA, CRISC, or CIA certification is highly preferred.
