Director, Infrastructure Funding

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee funding procedures to obtain grants and external financing for clients’ capital projects.

• Promote funding programs with minimal supervision from senior leadership within the funding group.

• Leverage state and federal funding sources along with agency relationships to pinpoint funding opportunities.

• Comprehend client project scopes and propose strategies for securing funding.

• Spearhead the completion of funding applications and necessary documentation.

• Direct the funding team in tasks related to applications and infrastructure financing.

• Adjust and implement additional assignments as per changing requirements.

• Mentor, guide, support, and disseminate knowledge among less experienced team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 15 years of experience in Strategic Funding or a related field.

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, business management, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

• Advanced comprehension of state and federal funding sources and programs.

• Established relationships with key personnel in state and federal funding agencies.

• Thorough understanding of infrastructure project scope and its components.

• Proficiency in strategic planning processes.

• Extensive knowledge of federal and state funding programs.

• Familiarity with municipal finance principles and practices.

• Capability to perform competitor analysis and deliver strategic market insights.

• Strong grounding in municipal finance, economics, and federal and state funding programs.

• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
