Director, Implementations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage the integration project tasks and personnel of the IT Implementation team

• Supervise outstanding issues from recent go-live events

• Execute post-go-live modifications and enhance workflows

• Offer additional training as needed

• Oversee system changes and integrated testing after go-live

• Develop training materials

• Direct the strategy and execution of all integration implementation projects

• Provide monthly reports to IT and operational leadership

• Manage transitions and closures of implementation integration projects

• Evaluate clinical applications, workflows, and architecture after go-live and address unresolved issues for practices and radiologists

• Assess and manage clinical application configurations post-implementation and report on ongoing radiologist concerns

• Lead post-go-live modifications, including HL7 adjustments, circuit installations, DICOM routing, and modality server setups

• Collaborate with application vendors to resolve front-end and back-end system issues

• Organize and facilitate additional training for IT team members on implementation standards

• Participate in weekly problem management meetings and guide the resolution of open integration issue tickets

• Oversee and engage with cross-functional internal teams including Clin Apps, PACS, Infrastructure, App Hosting, Mosaic Support, CORE, and Operations

• Provide support and evaluations to IT Implementation teams to ensure conformity with company and customer standards

• Document standards and any modifications to those standards

• Act as an escalation point for the implementation team's rotating on-call schedule and support project work during regular hours, after hours, and weekends as necessary to assist practices and enhance patient care

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Healthcare or Healthcare IT

• Bachelor’s Degree

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Strong critical thinking abilities and capacity for objective analysis of complex issues

• Capability to instruct and develop training programs for IT implementation of clinical applications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Comprehensive understanding of workflows between EHR/EMR and PACS

• Familiarity with voice recognition applications and other healthcare-related software

• Basic knowledge of networking and infrastructure

• Basic understanding of HL7

• Basic understanding of DICOM

• Basic understanding of application hosting

• Basic understanding of workstation troubleshooting
