Director, Global RTR Process Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the intake process of new projects within the global business services platform.

• Spearhead intricate projects related to M&A integration and the migration of finance functions to Global Business Services.

• Act as a liaison among the M&A deal team, business stakeholders, and GBS delivery teams.

• Manage global Record-to-Report processes in a centralized manner.

• Ensure the adoption, maturity, consistency, and standards of processes across regional GBS Centers.

• Lead a team of functional Global Product Owners and escalate any issues to the SVP Finance Operations.

• Supervise system performance and manage both functional and technical system resources.

• Ensure that integrations between existing systems and processes operate effectively.

• Review and address issues, risks, and business impacts associated with RTR processes.

• Identify best practices both internally and externally for ongoing end-to-end process enhancement.

• Maintain process flows, master data, and ensure data integrity.

• Drive engagement with Subject Matter Resources.

• Update and validate training materials and assist in delivering training sessions.

• Manage policy revisions and serve as a change ambassador.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient knowledge and experience with SAP.

• Experience in centralized service centers that support financial operations across various legal entities, business groups, regions, countries, languages, and currencies.

• Familiarity with change management theories and practices.

• Proven skills in financial process design, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement, particularly in record-to-report.

• Strong stakeholder engagement and management abilities in complex, multifaceted organizations.

• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Experience working with remote teams across multiple locations.

• Prior experience in media or entertainment is preferred as an additional qualification.
