Director – Frontier Model & AI Alliances

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Develop and nurture relationships within the frontier AI and data platform ecosystem.

• Engage with key AI communities to facilitate access and opportunities where formal initiatives are absent.

• Create and maintain ongoing, multi-tiered communication with targeted partners.

• Offer visibility into the product roadmap, access to leadership, and early notification of changes impacting Zenity customers.

• Act as a representative for Zenity alongside the CEO and CTO in critical discussions with frontier AI leaders.

• Position Zenity as the essential security layer for enterprise AI implementations.

• Convert relationship advancements into internal insights, stakeholder communications, early product knowledge, and partnership opportunities.

• Identify collaborative go-to-market opportunities, such as co-marketing, joint presence, logo utilization, and referrals.

• Develop an active communication strategy involving 5+ frontier AI companies.

• Establish product-level collaborations with 1–2 partners.

• Implement at least one partner-facing go-to-market initiative.

⛳️ Requirements

• Deeply engaged in the frontier AI ecosystem, with established connections at relevant companies and communities.

• Preferably located in the Bay Area or have spent a significant amount of time there; proximity and network are considered essential.

• Experience working at or alongside organizations such as Databricks, Snowflake, Anthropic, OpenAI, or similar in business development, partnerships, or ecosystem roles.

• Capable of navigating without a predefined plan and pioneering new avenues.

• Experience collaborating closely with executive leadership and confidently participating in high-stakes discussions with CTOs, founders, and senior product executives.

• In-depth knowledge of the AI ecosystem, including models, tools, community dynamics, and politics.

• Demonstrated ability to construct systems, processes, or relationships.

• Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Possess an ownership mentality with accountability for results.

• Experience in high-growth or venture-backed settings.

• Familiarity with AI, security, or emerging technology ecosystems.
