AI Operations Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with business units to determine how AI can enhance and automate daily operations.

• Design, implement, test, and maintain AI automation workflows along with scheduled tasks.

• Monitor and evaluate automation executions to enhance underperforming elements.

• Provide feedback on the internal AI automation framework's product performance.

• Conduct peer reviews and manage the source code of the framework.

• Facilitate training sessions and create internal documentation on applied AI topics, including skill enhancement, agent design, and prompt/context engineering.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in constructing applied AI systems.

• Proficiency in prompt engineering, context engineering, prompt caching, tool usage, and progressive disclosure.

• Understanding of skills, both remote and local MCP servers, agents, and agent harnesses.

• Hands-on experience with LLM provider APIs and gateways, such as OpenAI Chat Completions and Responses APIs, Anthropic Messages API, or OpenRouter.

• Capability to read, write, and structure Markdown-based systems.

• Experience in TypeScript development.

• Strong fluency in Git and GitHub, including branches, pull requests, reviews, and the maintenance of shared repositories.

• Security-conscious approach regarding permissions for autonomous agents.

• Ability to articulate deeply technical subjects clearly in both written and spoken forms.

• Patience when collaborating with non-technical colleagues.

• Nice to have: familiarity with specification-driven development, RPI, Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Superpowers, or Spec Kit.

• Nice to have: experience in conducting LLM evaluations, benchmarks, and prompt regression testing.

• Nice to have: capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
