This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the main point of contact for security and ADE products while assisting Sales across DoD, IC, and COCOM accounts.
• Establish a network of DoD and IC clients to gather insights on product roadmaps and capability priorities, including compliance needs.
• Lead interactions with journalists and industry analysts, such as Gartner and Forrester, to support PR/AR teams.
• Present security industry trends and the Akamai Defense Edge portfolio at defense-oriented events like AFCEA TechNet and the AUSA Annual Meeting.
• Provide education to customer-facing teams on Zero Trust, Least Permissive Trust, Tactical ICAM, and AI Runtime Defense in mission-critical environments.
• Function as the solutions-architecture representative for comprehensive Federal/DoD solutions, translating product capabilities into mission results for COCOMs, DISA, and military CIO/CTO offices.
• Assist capture and proposal teams as a recognized technical thought leader and subject matter expert on high-priority Defense Edge initiatives.
• Interact with Defense and Intelligence security stakeholders and convey customer feedback to product development.
• More than 12 years of pertinent cybersecurity experience.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in edge-native security.
• Strong knowledge of Zero Trust architecture.
• Expertise in minimizing complex attack surfaces.
• Experience in securing distributed workloads and hybrid environments.
• Understanding of AI Runtime Defense, including the security challenges associated with live AI models and autonomous workflows.
• Proven track record of promoting and advancing cybersecurity, edge defense, and technical initiatives within the broader public sector community.
• Familiarity with DoD Cloud Security Requirements Guide IL4/IL5/IL6.
• Knowledge of FedRAMP High standards.
• Awareness of Intelligence Community Directive 705.
• Understanding of CMMC compliance frameworks.
• Capability to collaborate with field teams, clients, partners, and senior government stakeholders including C-Suite executives.
