Director, Duals Strategy – Policy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Supervise, guide, and execute comprehensive program management.

• Formulate a national duals strategy, focusing on Medicare Advantage and public policy priorities related to duals.

• Establish trusted connections with internal leaders and external stakeholders to shape significant policy decisions and long-term strategies.

• Manage relationships both internally and externally, securing state and federal support and feedback.

• Ensure clear communication and alignment with decision-makers at all organizational levels.

• Create policy-informed strategies and playbooks across various markets.

• Provide counsel to the DIO team regarding regulatory issues and their influence on business strategy.

• Oversee advisory groups for stakeholders.

• Collaborate with Line of Business leadership on preparation, representation, coordination, and unified communication.

• Select, nurture, empower, and deploy direct reports effectively.

• Work alongside Compliance and Regulatory Affairs on regulatory filings, requests, and submissions.

• Lead change management initiatives across the Medi-Cal team, functional areas, and the California market.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.

• 5-7 years of experience in the industry is mandatory.

• 0-3 years of supervisory or management experience.

• Must have authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship, now or in the future.

• Strong skills in data analysis.

• Excellent communication abilities.

• Proficient in public speaking.

• Preferred experience in program or project management.

• Regulatory or Compliance background is a plus.

• Background in Federal, State, and Regulatory Policy is preferred.

• Experience in health policy, healthcare analytics, business, economics, law, or related fields is ideal.
