This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Foster robust partnerships with customer supply chain teams to synchronize strategies, enhance service levels, and collaboratively create value.
• Spearhead joint planning initiatives, pinpoint challenges, and drive collaborative projects that boost performance, cut costs, and optimize network efficiency.
• Evaluate end-to-end supply chain processes across VF and customer networks to uncover inefficiencies and opportunities for enhancement.
• Propel service improvements, policy modifications, and operational standardization to elevate delivery performance, lower costs, and remove friction points like lead times and order variability.
• Utilize data, analytics, and digital tools to evaluate trade-offs concerning cost, service, inventory, and working capital.
• Create dashboards, scorecards, and predictive insights to track performance, quantify potential opportunities, and proactively highlight risks.
• Lead supply chain initiatives that span cross-functional and cross-company efforts, including customer network optimization, demand collaboration, and innovation in service models.
• Construct business cases, pilot innovative solutions, and oversee implementation to achieve tangible financial and operational outcomes.
• Serve as a change leader, aligning Customer teams, Finance, Operations, and Commercial teams around common objectives and performance metrics.
• Set up governance frameworks, monitor value realization, and ensure the sustainable adoption of new processes and service models.
• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in Supply Chain, including direct leadership of cross-functional plant operations in planning, logistics, production, and fulfillment is essential.
• Experience managing projects involving cross-functional teams across the enterprise is required.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% is necessary.
• Lean Practitioner Certification, Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), or an MBA is preferred.
• Experience in the food products industry is highly desirable.
• Background in a manufacturing setting is a plus.
• Prior experience interacting with customers is greatly valued.
• A continuous improvement mindset is a wonderful asset.
• Experience with 3PL is beneficial.
