This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Assess, prioritize, and implement growth strategies related to acquisitions, physician collaborations, joint ventures, and new market developments.
• Direct financial and strategic assessments for potential opportunities.
• Oversee transaction implementation from sourcing and tracking pipelines to due diligence, closure, and integration.
• Facilitate cross-functional due diligence involving legal, financial, operational, HR, and strategic areas.
• Assist in transaction structuring and negotiations alongside Legal, Finance, and senior management.
• Construct and uphold financial models, valuation assessments, and relevant schedules.
• Question assumptions, pinpoint value drivers, and evaluate deal risks.
• Keep track of industry trends, competitor movements, and market conditions.
• Assess and strategize new imaging center opportunities in targeted growth regions.
• Conduct market and referral analyses in collaboration with Operations and Sales teams.
• Create volume capture models and ramp-up assumptions to determine priority expansion locations.
• Draft investment memoranda, business cases, pipeline updates, and presentations for the Investment Committee, Board, and senior leadership.
• Enhance investment evaluation tools, transaction structures, data rooms, and performance metrics.
• Assist with post-merger integration, monitor post-close milestones, and assess performance relative to the deal thesis.
• Guide and mentor junior analysts and team members.
• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline is required.
• An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
• 8-10+ years of experience in Corporate Development, Healthcare Strategy, Investment Banking, M&A, or Strategic Finance.
• Demonstrated success in supporting or executing healthcare transactions, acquisitions, physician partnerships, or new developments from assessment to completion.
• Advanced skills in financial modeling and valuation methods, including DCF and comparable-company analyses.
• Experience in managing structured due diligence processes.
• Strong understanding of healthcare industry dynamics, outpatient service models, and physician referral systems.
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities for coordinating intricate cross-functional projects.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Capacity to present detailed analyses to senior leadership.
