This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Provide guidance to Global and US business partners on initiatives while addressing legal and compliance risks.
• Offer daily strategic and tactical compliance support to leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Identify and create compliance tools and resources.
• Build and sustain relationships with management across business functions and engage in leadership meetings.
• Collaborate with Legal, Human Resources, Internal Audit, and other departments.
• Identify observations and trends for monitoring and audit protocols, including updates to policies and SOPs, compliance training, and communications.
• Act as a liaison between Compliance Operations and business functions to facilitate coaching, training, and discussions.
• Stay informed about current and emerging US laws, regulations, codes, and enforcement actions.
• Contribute to the continuous enhancement of the Global Compliance Program, including risk assessments and remediation efforts.
• Evaluate compliance training needs and design and deliver ad-hoc training sessions.
• Review and provide expertise on policies and SOPs.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Jazz products, industry regulations, guidelines, policies, and SOPs.
• Temporarily assist with other compliance-related tasks such as policy updates, monitoring, and compliance investigations.
• At least 10 years of experience in healthcare compliance within a pharmaceutical/biotechnology company or the life sciences sector.
• Proven knowledge and understanding of the Anti-Kickback Statute and the False Claims Act.
• Familiarity with FDA regulations regarding the promotion of pharmaceuticals.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, Open Payments, relevant industry guidance, and the PhRMA Code on Interactions with Healthcare Professionals.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities.
• Capability to influence without direct authority and work collaboratively across functions.
• Ability to cultivate a robust internal compliance culture.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Experience in taking ownership of issues and providing timely, practical, and actionable advice.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Self-motivated individual with demonstrated leadership qualities and sound judgment on complex compliance issues.
• Capacity to identify enhancements in controls, systems, and processes and implement effective solutions.

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• This position is remote-based in the United States and includes travel requirements.
