• Participate as a key member of the executive leadership team in inbound commercial, partnership, and strategic meetings — offering context, documenting essential outputs, and assisting in how Armada is represented in discussions.
• Equip executive leadership with concise, actionable briefings prior to meetings: detailing who will be present, the significance of the meeting, background information, and desired outcomes.
• Act as a reliable thought partner to executive leadership during meetings — crafting the narrative, identifying potential risks, and ensuring that Armada departs each meeting with clear next steps.
• Take responsibility for follow-up actions from executive leadership meetings: record commitments, track action items, and guarantee that nothing is overlooked.
• Serve as the primary screening layer for inbound commercial and partnership opportunities at Armada. Employ thorough, structured judgment to assess whether a particular opportunity deserves Armada's focus and resources.
• Create and uphold a qualification framework that aligns with Armada's current priorities, growth strategy, and deal thresholds — updating it as necessary to reflect changes in the business landscape.
• Recognize when to decline. Professionally and thoughtfully close out opportunities that do not align with Armada's objectives — safeguarding the company's reputation and the time of senior leadership.
• Direct qualified opportunities to the appropriate teams (sales, partnerships, or executive) with comprehensive context, qualification notes, and suggested next steps.
• Actively monitor the commercial environment to pinpoint emerging opportunities, competitive indicators, and market trends pertinent to Armada's growth objectives.
• 8–12+ years of experience in business development, strategic sales, or a commercial role where qualification, prioritization, and executive relationship management were fundamental aspects of the job.
• Proven expertise in qualification: a solid record of quickly and accurately evaluating commercial opportunities, making informed decisions on the right engagements, and professionally closing out unsuitable ones.
• Executive presence: polished and credible in senior-level environments. Comfortable representing Armada in high-level meetings and critical commercial discussions.
• Exceptional communication skills: ability to distill complex information about the company or market into clear briefings, knowing when to lead the conversation and when to listen.
• Rigorous market research capabilities: a demonstrated history of rapidly immersing oneself in new technical areas, companies, or markets — with a tendency to be over-prepared for high-stakes interactions.
• Technical fluency: confident in discussing complex subjects (AI infrastructure, edge computing, sovereign AI, defense, cybersecurity) and able to simplify these topics for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Judgement in ambiguous situations: maintaining high personal standards for preparation, integrity, and long-term reputation. Capable of developing strategies as needed in a fast-paced, early-stage company.
• Competitive base salary and equity
• Medical, dental, and vision (subsidized cost)
• Health savings accounts (HSA), flexible spending accounts (FSA), and dependent care FSAs (DCFSA)
• Retirement plan options, including 401(k) and Roth 401(k)
• Unlimited paid time off (PTO)
• 14 paid company holidays per year
