This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Edit high-performance ads for direct-to-consumer (D2C) brands.

• Create high-quality video content for social media advertisements, promotional materials, and performance marketing across various brands.

• Ensure videos align with the distinctive style and tone of voice of each brand.

• Specialize in user-generated content (UGC), motion graphics, and high-quality social media videos.

• Optimize content for platforms such as TikTok, Meta (Facebook & Instagram), and others to enhance engagement.

• Work efficiently under tight deadlines while upholding high standards of quality.

• Collaborate with team members to incorporate client feedback effectively.

• Stay updated on video content trends and editing techniques focused on driving conversions.

• Report directly to the Senior Video Editor.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in video editing and production, preferably in the e-commerce sector.

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.

• Familiarity with additional video editing tools is advantageous.

• In-depth knowledge of TikTok, Meta ads, and best practices for short-form videos.

• Proficient in motion graphics, transitions, captions, and color grading techniques.

• Self-driven and proactive; capable of working independently or collaboratively within a team.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to visualize the broader context.

• Proactive and adaptable, with a focus on finding solutions.

• Exceptional attention to detail paired with strong problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to cultivate long-term professional relationships.
