📋 Description

• As a Digital Sales Consultant, you will act as a subject matter expert within the spine-focused Digital technologies platform, assisting in the implementation of commercial launch plans by initially promoting sales and adoption of the Teligen digital solution and other assigned Robotics and enabling technologies platforms.

• This position reports to the US Clinical Sales Manager- Digital Spine Surgery and is accountable for maintaining a validated customer sales pipeline, achieving quarterly area sales forecast targets, executing installations through the education of both internal and external customers, and enhancing awareness throughout the designated area.

• Your responsibilities will include: Lead prospecting, awareness initiatives, clinical demonstrations, and clinical advocacy efforts within the assigned region.

• You will lead site installations and provide initial case support alongside our sales consultant team in the designated area.

• Collaborate with Capital Equipment Selling Managers to expand the area pipeline, monitor placement utilization, and meet enabling technologies forecast goals.

• Exhibit a strong understanding of clinical and capital selling pathways related to Imaging, Navigation, and Minimally Invasive Surgery.

• Align with and support area business plans to achieve strategic objectives.

• Assist area initiatives to drive associated spinal implants for comprehensive platform adoption.

• Work in partnership with Commercial Education, Professional Education, and Area Sales Leadership to deliver timely and effective field education programs.

• Conduct targeted regional tissue labs, product demonstrations, industry meeting interactions, and related surgeon engagements.

• Implement a hospital-based onboarding program for the surgical team (surgeon, PA, O.R. tech, etc.).

• Support the field sales organization in executing our service and repair protocols.

• Influence area budgets to ensure the strategic and results-driven use of funding.

• Utilize data to influence internal and external stakeholders and drive decisions.

• Identify area needs, risks, and strategies that contribute to a successful customer experience and the overall proliferation of the platform.


⛳️ Requirements

• Education and Experience: One of the following:

• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university/college OR an Associate degree, or surgical tech/highly specialized medical training/certification (e.g., Medical Sales College) along with four (4) years of relevant experience in clinical, hospital, or surgical settings.

• OR a minimum of eight (8) years of orthopedic spine sales experience.

• OR a recent transition from Active-Duty Military.

• Requirements: At least three years of spinal implant sales experience or equivalent orthopedic capital robotics professional selling experience.

• Proven success in selling new innovative medical devices and thriving with technology.

• Capability to operate in a clinical, technical, and professional sales environment with a solid understanding of human anatomy and physiology.

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills (verbal/written), negotiation, influencing, strategic thinking, problem-solving, presentation, and business acumen.

• Experience in data analysis with strong problem-solving abilities.

• Results-oriented with a sense of urgency; able to meet tight deadlines.

• Ability to work independently and autonomously within matrix and team structures.

• Demonstrated ability to understand, interpret, communicate, and function in a complex environment with a high level of attention to detail.

• This position may initially require up to 75% domestic travel, including limited weekend work and frequent overnight stays, with tapering after the first year.

• The majority of the time will be spent in surgeon offices and hospital settings, involving case coverage, facility training, troubleshooting, and competitive selling in the operating room (OR).

• Ability to work within a lab/operating room environment.

• Must reside within the designated territory/geography.

• A valid Driver’s license in one of the 50 States is required.

• Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – 13 days per calendar year.

• Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year.

• Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child.

• Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member; 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year.

• Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period.

• Volunteer Leave – 10 days or 32 hours per calendar year.

• Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year.
