This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Drive Hershey’s Digital Quality Strategy within the realms of food safety, quality, and regulatory initiatives.
• Collaborate with QRC business leaders, the Digital Quality team, Information Systems, and Quality Assurance teams at the plant level.
• Manage and improve the QRC Scorecard and Power BI suite, encompassing semantic models, DAX measures, Power Query/M, refresh reliability, dashboards, and user assistance.
• Create metrics and analytical tools to evaluate program performance, pinpoint risks and areas for improvement, and facilitate business decision-making.
• Oversee the development of QRC KPIs and conduct annual metric assessments with business and regional stakeholders.
• Act as the technical lead for designated QRC digital quality systems, primarily focusing on LIMS.
• Lead internal teams and external partners responsible for system development, configuration, and maintenance.
• Address incidents, determine root causes, support corrective actions, and oversee partner and vendor performance.
• Convert business requirements into functional and data specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Guide backlog items through the intake, prioritization, and change management processes.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to map current and future-state processes to identify opportunities for improvement, automation, and responsible AI integration.
• Lead workstreams, advise business owners on system and data dependencies, and contribute to shaping Digital Quality governance.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in data management, analytics, BI development, enterprise system administration, and/or business analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science/Analytics, Engineering, Food Science, Supply Chain, or a related field; equivalent technical experience will also be considered.
• Expertise in Power BI, including semantic modeling, DAX, Power Query/M, and workspace and refresh management.
• Proficient in SQL and possess a working knowledge of enterprise data platforms and relational databases or data warehouses.
• Experience in administering enterprise software, managing technical support teams or vendors, and drafting functional and data specifications.
• Familiarity with functional and user acceptance testing, as well as tools like qTest, Azure DevOps, JIRA, or similar.
• Understanding of AI/ML concepts and practical experience using generative AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot.
• Preferable experience in consumer packaged goods or regulated manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of LIMS administration and configuration, ideally LabWare, including LIMS Basic and Crystal Reports.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Quality Management or Batch Management; data governance, master data, data catalogs, or ALCOA+; and familiarity with food safety, quality, and regulatory practices in manufacturing preferred.
