Digital Marketing Super Agent – Freelance Mentor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Conduct individual and group mentoring sessions for designated graduates.

• Assist graduates in applying their digital marketing skills in real-world client scenarios.

• Help graduates develop confidence, professionalism, effective work habits, and sustainable freelance careers.

• Offer feedback on portfolios, proposals, project work, quotes, and client communications.

• Aid graduates in identifying income-generating opportunities through freelance and remote work.

• Provide advice on sourcing opportunities via networks, referrals, direct outreach, LinkedIn, and freelance platforms.

• Guide strategies for pricing, service packaging, positioning, client discovery, negotiation, and project scoping.

• Assist in creating and optimizing professional profiles on LinkedIn, Upwork, Fiverr, Contra, and other marketplaces.

• Review portfolios and suggest enhancements in line with global recruitment standards.

• Support personal branding, online presence, profile visibility, and attracting clients.

• Provide project guidance, review outputs, and deliver actionable feedback on quality.

• Help graduates manage client communications and navigate project-management challenges.

• Conduct regular progress assessments and track graduate development and success.

• Share resources related to digital marketing, including tools, templates, case studies, examples, trends, and best practices.

• Collaborate with Generation staff and other Super Agents to enhance learner success.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 6 years of professional experience in Digital Marketing.

• Practical expertise in social media marketing, content marketing, design, SEO, SEM, paid advertising, analytics, email marketing, and campaign management.

• A minimum of 2 years of documented freelancing experience delivering digital marketing services.

• Proven success in sourcing, securing, managing, and executing freelance projects.

• Strong understanding of freelance business development, pricing strategies, proposal writing, client relationship management, and project delivery.

• Excellent communication, coaching, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational abilities and time management skills.

• Capacity to mentor several learners at once.

• Willingness to commit a minimum of 10–15 hours per week to mentoring and learner support activities.

• Must currently reside in South Africa and be open to remote working arrangements.

• In-depth knowledge of the South African business landscape, digital economy, and remote work ecosystem.

• Dedication to empowering young individuals from diverse backgrounds through freelancing and digital work.

• Prior experience in mentoring, coaching, teaching, or career development is preferred.

• Experience in helping freelancers acquire clients and establish sustainable freelance careers is preferred.

• Certifications in Google Ads, Google Analytics, Meta Blueprint, HubSpot, LinkedIn Marketing, SEMrush, or related fields are preferred.

• Familiarity with platforms like Upwork, Fiverr, Contra, Freelancer.com, PeoplePerHour, or similar is preferred.

• Experience working with international clients and remote teams is preferred.

• Knowledge of online learning platforms, virtual collaboration tools, and community engagement approaches is preferred.
