This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the execution engine for the marketing team, encompassing systems, channels, publishing schedules, and performance analytics.
• Take ownership of HubSpot as the main marketing system of record, managing segments, properties, workflows, forms, campaign tracking, and integrations.
• Conduct technical SEO, including on-page optimization, structured data, site architecture, internal linking, backlinks, listings, and AEO for altimate.ai and help.altimate.ai.
• Establish measurement frameworks to assess search and answer-engine visibility.
• Administer subscription lists, opt-in procedures, newsletter development, scheduling, distribution, hygiene, segmentation, and deliverability.
• Define email KPIs and oversee the process to achieve them.
• Publish and distribute blog articles authored by engineers and writers through Hashnode and various other channels.
• Manage social media platforms, repurpose long-form content into posts, evaluate channel performance, and expand reach.
• Monitor and respond to analytics from GA4, PostHog, Google Search Console, HubSpot, OpenSEO, and other analytics tools.
• Handle webinars and online events from start to finish, including platform selection, registration, promotion, reminders, follow-up, and reporting.
• Organize conference and meetup participation in North America and Europe, handling venues, vendors, shipping, schedules, promotion, lead capture, and follow-up.
• Assist in promoting occasional events in India.
• Initially serve as an individual contributor, with a planned progression towards leading a small team.
• 4+ years of experience in digital marketing; 6 years preferred.
• Significant experience in startups or small multi-channel marketing teams.
• Direct ownership of a marketing automation platform, including its configuration.
• Experience with email marketing infrastructure, including selecting or implementing an ESP, migrating contact databases, creating compliant opt-in flows, and troubleshooting deliverability issues.
• Practical hands-on experience with technical SEO, including schema, site architecture, and crawl/index health.
• A current and pragmatic perspective on AEO.
• Self-sufficient with GA4, Google Search Console, HubSpot, Ahrefs/Semrush/OpenSEO, or similar tools.
• Practical knowledge of agentic AI tools, including workflows and automations.
• Dependability for regular scheduled tasks.
• Reasonable overlap in working hours with teams in India and the US.
• Familiarity with software development and data engineering is advantageous.
• Experience in paid acquisition is a plus.
• Background in marketing to technical or developer audiences, or within the data ecosystem, is a plus.
• Comfort with a git-based publishing workflow, including markdown and pull requests, is a plus.
• Basic editing skills for technical content produced by others is a plus.
• Experience in briefing and managing external agencies or contractors is a plus.
