Digital Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Create digital experiences across websites, landing pages, marketing campaigns, social media platforms, presentations, and various interactive touchpoints.

• Convert brand identities and creative concepts into engaging and thoughtful digital experiences.

• Develop scalable design systems, component libraries, templates, and comprehensive guidelines.

• Generate user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma.

• Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are technically feasible and accurately executed.

• Prepare well-organized, production-ready design files and specifications for development handoff.

• Assist in the ongoing design, maintenance, and evolution of MATTE’s website and owned digital platforms.

• Work in conjunction with brand, experiential, content, and strategy teams across various digital channels.

• Participate in concept development and share design insights with internal teams and clients.

• Integrate motion, interaction, and emerging technologies where suitable.

• Manage multiple projects and deadlines while ensuring creative excellence and attention to detail.

• Stay updated on digital design trends, emerging platforms, AI tools, and advancing web technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Approximately 3–5 years of experience in digital, web, brand, or product design.

• A robust portfolio showcasing digital design, visual systems, responsive web experiences, and campaign work.

• Advanced proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, auto layout, prototyping, and shared libraries.

• Strong understanding of typography, composition, color, hierarchy, and visual storytelling.

• Experience in designing responsive websites and collaborating effectively with developers.

• Working knowledge of UX principles, accessibility standards, and digital design best practices.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.

• Experience with Webflow, Framer, or other similar website-building platforms is highly preferred.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills, especially within remote and cross-functional teams.

• Professional proficiency in both English and Spanish is strongly preferred.
