Digital Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Collaborate as a member of cross-functional teams focused on program reviews or product deliveries.

• Engage in field research, define and refine backlogs, and manage sprint planning and execution.

• Lead the architectural design of digital services.

• Develop comprehensive architectural plans utilizing citizen-centered design and agile software methodologies.

• Explore existing system contexts and offer technical discovery and feasibility recommendations or prototypes.

• Own and deliver solution designs for iterative implementation.

• Assess impacts, exposures, and risks associated with solution designs.

• Direct the implementation of digital services and support frequent product deliveries.

• Establish tactical integration strategies and identify target system boundaries and interactions.

• Recognize and encourage the reuse of common components and capabilities.

• Guide the creation of detailed solution implementation designs.

• Review and contribute to code modifications for user stories and technical tasks.

• Mentor and coach the product team.

• Contribute to the architectural vision for a user-centric service platform.

• Aid in the development of principles, metrics, and standards for service quality and delivery.

• Present software architecture insights through various formats, including documents, diagrams, and presentations.

• Engage in the development and ongoing enhancement of the architecture practice.

• Competent in determining integration strategies and system boundaries/interactions.

• Able to review and contribute to code changes effectively.

• Experienced in creating architecture documentation, diagrams, and presentations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Proficient in providing coaching and mentorship to the product team.
