This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts, +1 more state.
• Promote and sell Zoetis diagnostic instruments, tests, related products, and services within a designated US sales territory.
• Establish and nurture customer relationships to enhance customer retention rates.
• Meet budgeted sales targets within designated accounts.
• Regularly update and manage the sales funnel and customer profile information in the online system.
• Collaborate with fellow Zoetis team members to achieve objectives and support the diagnostics sector.
• Travel to current and potential customer locations, focusing on 3–4 existing clients and 3–4 new business prospects each day.
• Record all customer and prospect interactions using the online system.
• Safely transport, lift, set up, and demonstrate diagnostic equipment and its features.
• Describe the diagnostic products and services, respond to inquiries, and convey their value proposition.
• Secure purchase orders from clients.
• Provide ongoing support to customers via in-person visits, phone calls, and emails for product, technical, and service inquiries.
• Conduct courtesy calls to update clients on new products, services, and instrumentation enhancements.
• Collaborate with sales, accounting, and technical teams to address customer requirements.
• Work in tandem with Diagnostic Technical Specialists to improve customer service and utilization.
• Generate new business opportunities and leads, including placing instruments within competitor accounts, academic institutions, and research environments.
• Collect referrals from existing customers.
• Assist in billing and collection processes.
• Travel within the assigned territory up to 60%–70% of the time, including significant driving and approximately 4–8 overnight stays each month.
• A minimum of 4 years of proven sales experience or relevant technical/clinical experience, ideally in the medical, scientific, or healthcare sectors.
• At least an Associate’s degree is required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred, ideally with a focus on science or business, or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in English.
• Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology and science.
• Proven ability to sell capital equipment within physician and/or veterinary clinics.
• Competent in delivering presentations, including financial presentations, to all organizational levels.
• Capable of transporting, setting up, and demonstrating equipment efficiently and effectively.
• Proven organizational, prioritization, and time management abilities.
• Excellent multitasking skills and the ability to work independently.
• A valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and auto insurance are required.
• Must be able to safely lift and move 60 lbs.
• All candidates must have or be able to obtain authorization to work in the US for Zoetis.
