This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.
• Develop and manage essential security and reliability tools for the client’s engineering teams.
• Create, implement, and sustain security-centric tools and guardrails for infrastructure and service provisioning.
• Collaborate with security engineering, SRE, and platform teams to incorporate trust principles throughout the engineering lifecycle.
• Execute secrets management, automate certificate lifecycles, and enforce identity/authentication controls.
• Lead the design and enhancement of secure, scalable, and resilient AWS-native architectures.
• Utilize Terraform Infrastructure as Code to standardize and uphold infrastructure patterns.
• Oversee Kubernetes cluster resource configurations, Helm charts, and Operator patterns to facilitate safe deployments.
• Develop internal tools and automation that uphold security standards and alleviate developer cognitive load.
• Collaborate with platform and developer productivity teams to optimize onboarding, deployment pipelines, and self-service functionalities.
• Monitor, observe, and alert on infrastructure health, compliance deviations, and policy infractions.
• Over 5 years of direct experience managing Kubernetes and Security workloads in production settings.
• In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes resource management, Helm charts, and operator patterns, particularly in relation to security workloads.
• Strong command of Helm, including templating, dependency management, and release lifecycle practices.
• Advanced troubleshooting abilities for distributed systems using observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and tracing systems.
• Demonstrated capability to execute complex infrastructure migrations with minimal service interruption.
• Familiarity with CNCF ecosystem tools and GitOps-based deployment methodologies.
• Previous experience in designing and implementing secure infrastructure guardrails on Kubernetes, including external-secrets-operator and cert-manager.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar practical experience is considered a plus.
