DevOps Engineer, SentinelOps, DevEx, Cloud Enablement Team

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Oversee identity and access management across AWS, GCP, TencentCloud, and on-premises settings, which includes permission models, cross-account trust, federation, IAM integrations, Keycloak, and secrets management.

• Establish and uphold cloud governance through guardrails, organizational policies, account and project structures, and preventive controls.

• Provision and oversee both cloud and on-premises infrastructure utilizing Terraform.

• Design, create, and maintain reusable GitLab CI/CD pipelines and templates for secure and scalable deployment.

• Operate and sustain on-premises and AWS EKS Kubernetes clusters to ensure high availability, scalability, and security.

• Develop and implement disaster recovery and high-availability strategies.

• Automate operational workflows and infrastructure management using Bash, Python, Go, or similar scripting languages.

• Set up monitoring, alerting, and logging systems with Prometheus, Grafana, and AWS CloudWatch.

• Manage Linux systems that support container and cloud environments.

• Document infrastructure configurations, deployment protocols, and operational runbooks.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in DevOps or related roles.

• Expertise in Terraform for infrastructure as code and practical experience with at least one cloud provider.

• Strong knowledge of networking principles and security best practices.

• Proficient in Linux system administration and scripting with Bash, Python, Go, or similar languages.

• Practical experience with AWS, GCP, or TencentCloud, including VPCs, subnets, object storage, and virtual machines.

• Proven experience running workloads on Kubernetes in a production environment.

• Experience in constructing CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity with AWS/GCP/TencentCloud IAM and multi-cloud IAM concepts, including roles, policies, cross-account trust, and federation.

• Understanding of cloud governance principles such as service control policies, organizational policies, or similar guardrails.

• Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging utilizing Prometheus and Grafana or similar tools, including writing queries and setting up alerts.

• Relevant certifications such as CISA, CRISC, or CISSP are preferred.

• Experience in multi-cloud environments including GCP and TencentCloud is a plus.

• Knowledge of cloud IAM and identity management at scale.

• Familiarity with cloud security tools such as AWS GuardDuty, Security Hub, or GCP Security Command Center.

• Experience in implementing cloud governance at scale.

• Understanding of IAM solutions, particularly Keycloak.

• Experience in managing clusters.

• Ability to apply secure-by-design architectural principles.
