DevOps Engineer, Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Panama.

📋 Description

• Create and manage Google Cloud infrastructure for new front-end and backend services.

• Configure and oversee Cloudflare CDN, WAF, DNS, caching, and edge security.

• Establish and execute the security framework, encompassing IAM, secrets management, scanning, logging, and alerting.

• Develop and sustain CI/CD pipelines for the Core Web and Core Platform teams.

• Handle infrastructure as code using Terraform.

• Ensure the security of the new authentication service.

• Implement monitoring and incident response protocols.

• Collaborate with the Core Web and Core Platform teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure, with a focus on security.

• Proficient knowledge of Google Cloud, including IAM, networking, GKE or Cloud Run, Cloud Armor, and Secret Manager.

• Experience with Cloudflare, including CDN, WAF, DNS, rules, bot protection, and DDoS mitigation.

• Practical experience in establishing a security posture, including least-privilege IAM, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, logging, and alerting.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.

• Experience in CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, or similar tools.

• Background in containers and Kubernetes.

• Proficient in English.

• Must be located in Latin America (LATAM).
