DevOps Engineer, Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design and manage Google Cloud infrastructure for both new front-end and back-end services.

• Establish and oversee Cloudflare CDN, WAF, DNS, caching, and edge security solutions.

• Define and execute the security framework, which includes IAM, secrets management, scanning, logging, and alerting.

• Create and sustain CI/CD pipelines for the Core Web and Core Platform teams.

• Administer infrastructure as code utilizing Terraform.

• Enhance the security of the new authentication service.

• Implement monitoring and incident response strategies.

• Collaborate across the Core Web and Core Platform teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure, with a focus on security.

• Proficient knowledge of Google Cloud, including IAM, networking, GKE or Cloud Run, Cloud Armor, and Secret Manager.

• Familiarity with Cloudflare CDN, WAF, DNS, rules, bot protection, and DDoS mitigation.

• Hands-on experience in configuring security postures, including least-privilege IAM, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, logging, and alerting.

• Experience in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.

• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, or comparable tools.

• Knowledge of containers and Kubernetes.

• Fluent in English.

• Must reside in Latin America (LATAM).
