DevOps Engineer – Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and manage Google Cloud infrastructure for new front-end and back-end services.

• Establish and oversee Cloudflare CDN, WAF, DNS, caching, and edge security.

• Define and implement the security framework, including IAM, secrets management, scanning, logging, and alerting.

• Develop and sustain CI/CD pipelines for the Core Web and Core Platform teams.

• Handle infrastructure as code utilizing Terraform.

• Ensure the security of the new authentication service.

• Implement monitoring and incident response protocols.

• Take ownership of cloud infrastructure, delivery pipelines, and security posture across the Core Web and Core Platform teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure with security responsibilities.

• Extensive knowledge of Google Cloud, including IAM, networking, GKE or Cloud Run, Cloud Armor, and Secret Manager.

• Experience with Cloudflare, encompassing CDN, WAF, DNS, rules, bot protection, and DDoS mitigation.

• Practical experience in setting up security posture, including least-privilege IAM, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, logging, and alerting.

• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly using GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, or similar tools.

• Familiarity with containers and Kubernetes.

• Proficient in English.

• Must reside in Latin America (LATAM).
