This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Deploy and set up cloud-based infrastructure, and install the Imagen software solution for client projects.
• Utilize platform editing tools to configure ImagenWeb according to customer-specific requirements.
• Design and execute tailored data-migration processes.
• Create scripts and automation to enhance delivery and content-onboarding workflows.
• Ensure services comply with operability standards prior to going live, which includes monitoring, alerting, logging, documentation, runbooks, and handover procedures.
• Assist in reducing incident rates through root-cause analysis, problem management, and automation strategies.
• Collaborate with first-line operations and technical support to enhance service recovery times and resolve customer issues.
• Maintain or elevate service levels during transitions and changes.
• Engage with customers through meetings, emails, phone calls, and conference calls.
• Take part in internal weekly planning meetings and contribute innovative project ideas.
• Keep abreast of advancements in cloud technology and suggest improvements to working practices.
• Adhere to operational standards, procedures, and best practices.
• Participate in on-call or out-of-hours support as necessary.
• Proficiency in cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Lambdas, and Function Apps.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions.
• Experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting proprietary software.
• Competence in Python or Windows PowerShell scripting.
• Knowledge of SQL.
• Comprehensive understanding of networking standards and protocols.
• Experience with the latest Windows Server operating systems, including troubleshooting various IT issues.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying ideas and solutions to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong organizational abilities, with a knack for managing priorities and meeting deadlines.
• Capacity to deliver customer deployments with a high degree of accuracy and satisfaction.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Preferred: 3 to 5 years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or technical operations role.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.
• Exposure to ITIL-style incident, problem, and change management.
• Experience in media, broadcast, or video workflows.
• Working knowledge of HTML, PHP, and CSS.
• Understanding of XML and XSL transformation.
• Relevant certifications, such as Azure Administrator, Azure DevOps Engineer, AWS, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, or ITIL 4.
• Preferred: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
