DevOps Engineer, Azure ARO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and uphold CI/CD pipelines utilizing Azure DevOps.

• Create and sustain Infrastructure as Code for the provisioning and management of Azure environments.

• Build, containerize, and deploy applications to Azure Red Hat OpenShift (ARO).

• Oversee OpenShift projects, deployments, routes, secrets, container registries, and release pipelines.

• Develop automated deployment solutions for the Power Platform, covering Power Automate, Power Apps, and enterprise-system integrations.

• Automate operational, business, and deployment processes.

• Manage Azure cloud services, including networking, storage, security, and monitoring capabilities.

• Execute deployment, rollback, release management, and environment promotion processes.

• Monitor the health of applications and infrastructure using enterprise monitoring and logging solutions.

• Troubleshoot issues related to deployment, infrastructure, container platforms, automation, and applications.

• Apply DevSecOps controls, conduct security scanning, manage vulnerability remediation, and ensure compliance requirements are met.

• Create operational documentation, runbooks, deployment guides, and automation standards.

• Collaborate with development, testing, security, and architecture teams on cloud infrastructure and automation solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of demonstrated experience as a DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, or Cloud Engineer.

• Extensive experience with Azure DevOps and the development of CI/CD pipelines.

• Proficient in building and deploying Spring Boot containerized applications to Azure Red Hat OpenShift (ARO), OpenShift, or Kubernetes platforms.

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration technologies.

• In-depth knowledge of Azure cloud services and enterprise cloud environments.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.

• Strong skills in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Azure CLI.

• Knowledgeable in Git, branching strategies, code reviews, and source control management.

• Experience in implementing monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational dashboards.

• Exceptional troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities.

• Secret or higher security clearance is required at the time of application.
