DevOps Engineer – AWS, Terraform, Jenkins

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Participate in an insurance project focused on modernizing the application portfolio and progressively migrating from on-premise infrastructures to the cloud.

• Manage, automate, and ensure the reliability of AWS infrastructures.

• Utilize Terraform for provisioning and maintaining environments.

• Oversee the monitoring of platforms.

• Handle production incidents and perform advanced troubleshooting activities.

• Conduct root cause analyses and define corrective actions.

• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines.

• Collaborate with development and architecture teams to enhance the resilience, performance, and stability of on-premise and cloud services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience with AWS, particularly with EC2, EKS, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, Lambda, Route 53, CloudFront, ALB/NLB, and CloudWatch.

• Strong knowledge of Terraform, including the management of modules and automated deployments through Infrastructure as Code.

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as CloudWatch, Grafana, and Prometheus.

• Skills in configuring dashboards, alerting systems, log analysis, and advanced troubleshooting.

• Experience with Jenkins, GitLab, Docker, and Kubernetes/Amazon EKS.

• In-depth understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated release processes.

• Solid knowledge of Linux Enterprise and scripting abilities in Bash and Python.

• Familiarity with fundamental networking concepts.

• Experience in managing production incidents, root cause analysis, and problem management.

• Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering practices, High Availability, Disaster Recovery, and Capacity Planning.

• Good command of the English language (B2 level).
