DevOps Engineer, AWS, Terraform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and sustain scalable AWS cloud infrastructure utilizing Terraform.

• Develop, support, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployments.

• Manage Infrastructure as Code to establish consistent, repeatable, and reliable environments.

• Monitor system performance, availability, and security across cloud environments.

• Collaborate with software engineering teams to enhance deployment processes and platform reliability.

• Implement best practices for infrastructure automation and configuration management.

• Support containerized workloads and orchestration platforms.

• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and application issues across both development and production environments.

• Manage cloud networking, IAM policies, security groups, and access controls.

• Contribute to disaster recovery, backup strategies, and high-availability solutions.

• Enhance platform security, scalability, monitoring, and operational efficiency.

• Maintain technical documentation and infrastructure standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in a DevOps, Cloud, or Site Reliability Engineering position.

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, RDS, and Route 53.

• Experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar tools.

• Strong experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.

• Experience with Docker and containerization technologies.

• Solid understanding of Linux system administration.

• Experience utilizing Git for source control and collaborative software development.

• Knowledge of cloud networking, security best practices, and identity management.

• Experience monitoring cloud environments with CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, or similar tools.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across engineering teams.

• Experience with Kubernetes is a plus.

• Experience managing multi-account AWS environments is a plus.

• Knowledge of Bash, Python, or PowerShell is a plus.

• Experience with Ansible is a plus.

• Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks is a plus.

• Experience supporting high-availability, mission-critical production environments is a plus.

• AWS certifications are a plus.

• Experience in fintech, financial services, or highly regulated industries is a plus.
