• Modernize the company's infrastructure

• Enhance production support

• Lead a transformation in CI/CD practices

• Establish a robust DevOps function internally

• Collaborate closely on a daily basis with Oscar

• Transition the company's AWS codebase to GitHub Actions

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in AWS infrastructure & operations — including EC2, Auto Scaling, Load Balancers, VPC networking fundamentals, and operational troubleshooting

• Experience with GitHub Actions — essential; focusing on workflow design, reusable workflows, secrets/OIDC, and migrating existing pipelines

• Knowledge of CI/CD & deployment automation — including pipeline design, standardization, and release management practices

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code — using Terraform or CloudFormation

• Expertise in monitoring & observability — involving dashboard design, alerting strategies, and monitoring cleanup and rationalization (using Datadog or a similar tool)

• Skills in cost optimization & capacity planning — including AWS spend analysis, resource optimization, as well as scaling and de-scaling strategies

• Understanding of AWS security — focusing on WAF administration and security best practices

• Experience in production support — including incident detection and response processes

• Proficient in Datadog — administration and optimization

• Ability to implement Slack integrations for alerting

• Knowledge of containers — including ECS, EKS, and Docker

• Scripting skills — in Python or Bash

• Background in financial services or other regulated environments

• AWS certification (SysOps Administrator / Solutions Architect / DevOps Engineer Professional)
