📋 Description

• Become a part of Tieto Tech Consulting as a Middle DevOps Engineer.

• Collaborate with a global telecommunications client to deliver network infrastructure and digital services internationally.

• Contribute to a centralized checksum-based artifact repository service utilizing the JFrog Platform, including Artifactory and Xray, along with custom plugins.

• Manage platform infrastructure across various production environments.

• Automate deployment processes and system upgrades.

• Monitor services and address incidents as they arise.

• Provide operational assistance to users.

• Function as an integral member of a DevSecOps Agile team.

• Implement Agile and DevOps best practices and tools within the industry.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong understanding of Linux, including proficiency in shell scripting.

• Skilled in software package managers like rpm, war, Docker, Helm, and npm.

• Ability to read, comprehend, and troubleshoot Java applications/JVM, including analyzing thread dumps, heap dumps, and stack traces.

• Expertise in automation and scripting languages such as Python, shell, and Groovy.

• Experience with servlet containers such as Tomcat.

• Knowledge of web services, including REST and SOAP.

• Familiarity with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL/SQL.

• Experience in managing and deploying microservices using Docker.

• Knowledge of CI/CD testing frameworks and end-to-end testing processes.

• Background checks are mandatory for all final candidates.

• Front-end development experience with Apache and Nginx is a plus.

• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and Gerrit is advantageous.

• Experience in monitoring and troubleshooting Java applications in live environments using tools like CheckMK, Prometheus/Grafana, VisualVM, JConsole, or Glowroot is beneficial.
