DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and sustain scalable cloud infrastructure.

• Establish and oversee CI/CD pipelines for dependable software deployment.

• Manage Kubernetes services and resolve cluster failures.

• Optimize performance across distributed systems.

• Address production incidents and conduct post-mortems.

• Identify root causes and enhance reliability processes.

• Implement and refine logging, monitoring, tracing, and alerting systems.

• Monitor infrastructure resource utilization and enhance cloud efficiency.

• Manage global CDN configurations.

• Maintain SSO systems, databases, backups, and recovery procedures.

• Support development, staging, and production environments.

• Automate infrastructure and operational processes using scripts and Infrastructure as Code.

• Collaborate with Backend, Product, and Engineering teams across multiple products.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS and cloud architecture and operations.

• In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker, including management of production-grade clusters.

• Experience with managed Kubernetes platforms like EKS, GKE, or AKS.

• Advanced expertise in Terraform, Helm, and Git.

• Practical experience in implementing and maintaining GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.

• Capability to automate system and deployment tasks using Python and Bash.

• Strong troubleshooting abilities and experience with distributed production systems.

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Codex, or similar.

• Hands-on experience managing API gateways for high-traffic applications.

• Experience with machine learning projects, including deployment, monitoring, and scaling of ML workloads.

• Familiarity with machine learning platforms, frameworks, or libraries.

• Experience in a DBA role, encompassing the management, maintenance, and optimization of large-scale databases.
